Youngblood: The Badjao's of R10 issue March 01 2011

for Mayette. . . .
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it because what the world needs is people who come alive". We can't deny the  fact that poverty is still existing now a days, there are many factors for that, one of those is uneducated. in our country we have different tribes and we called them as IP's or Indigenous People some of them didn't go to school due to they lived at the mountain's and it's too far from school. but there are striving IP's who want's to be educated, in fact the Badjao tribes the parent's send their children to school not for learnings but for higher payback when their daughter get married once their daughter are high school graduate they ask for higher amount, that's why many IP's lived at the squaters area because they  don't care what way of living is, the only thing that is important to them is to survive. In City's many IP's who are asking for alms, wearing their native costume while performing their native dance and instruments, many street children are IP's they already immune to the pollutions, noise and danger because their parents taught them how to earn money for their survival
